Jaclyn Hill Morphe Palette *REVIEW & SWATCHES* (Indian/Tan Skin)

The Jaclyn Hill Morphe palette has probably been the most talked about palette of 2017. This palette made beauty news when Jaclyn Hill, one of the most successful and well known beauty YouTubers, released her own palette in collaboration with Morphe. Morphe is best known for their ridiculously inexpensive makeup palettes and brushes. This launch was so exciting because all 35 eyeshadows in this palette were custom created by Jaclyn herself. She wanted a way to give back to all of her fans and subscribers and so this palette is meant to be universally flattering with something in it for everyone. People were so crazy about this palette that I was unable to get it until the 3rd restock! I am so happy that I was able to try this palette out and give you all my thoughts.

This palette retails for $38 for 35 eyeshadows which is pricey compared to Morphe's usual $22 for 35 shadows, but it's still not a bad deal. Each shadow costs a little over $1 which is a really good price. Jaclyn and Morphe both said that the shadows are formulated different from Morphe's usual shadows and have a higher price because they are of a higher quality. Shipping does cost $7.99 but with an affiliate discount code (I used JACATTACK) you can get 10% off your entire order.

This palette is so unique and universal at the same time. I think Jaclyn really put a lot of thought into the colors that she wanted to put into this palette. There are so many fun pops of color, but there are also tons of neutrals for the perfect everyday look. I think this is the perfect palette to travel with. It really has every eyeshadow you could want to create a bunch of different looks. This palette has matte, satin, shimmer, foil, and glitter eyeshadows. This palette almost has it all! The only con is that there is no mirror. I think for $38 the palette should have come with a mirror, especially since it really is the perfect palette to travel with. The palette itself is made out of cardboard, so a mirror would have helped justify the price. The outside design of the palette is beautiful, but it gets dirty so easily because its a matte white.

The quality of these shadows are amazing. This was my first purchase from Morphe and I'm really impressed. I was very apprehensive at first because I have heard so many mixed reviews about Morphe, BUT I am so glad I took the plunge and got this palette because it's so good. The shadows blend so effortlessly and they are very pigmented. All of the shadows show up really well on my skin, and I even get a lot of use out of lighter colors. I use the lighter colors as a brow bone highlight or to lighten my lid. I absolutely love how versatile this palette is and how well it works for a variety of skin tones.

Now lets get to the swatches!

Row 1 Left to Right: Enlight, Beam, Silk Creme, M.F.E.O, Faint, Sissy, Little Lady

Row 2 Left to Right: Creamsicle, Butter, Pooter, Pukey, Hunts, Firework, Queen

Row 3 Left to Right: Obsessed, S.B.N, Hillster, Roxanne, Jacz, Buns, Cranapple

Row 4 Left to Right: Royalty, Twerk, Hustle, Meeks, 27/7, Chip, Mocha

Row 5 Left to Right: Pool Party, Jada, Diva, Enchanted, Central Park, Soda Pop,  Abyss

As you can see from the swatches, all the colors show up beautifully on my skin tone, and there is a really nice assortment of finishes. I also love how each row is like its own mini palette. You can just go across each row and create a beautiful look, which makes this palette great for beginners. I recommend this palette 100% and I think its a must have for any makeup lover or beginner. My collection was definitely incomplete without this and I'm so happy with this buy. This palette is currently IN STOCK so go get it while it lasts!

    1. Unfortunately Morphe does not ship to United Arab Emirates. You can probably purchase their products off of third party websites, but there will be a significant increase in price!
